Summer Blend | Blue Mountain blend, Carribean-inspired , Medium Roast.

Truly a blend for all seasons. I happened upon this flavor purely by happenstance. First of all, I should tell you that there is a restaurant located in the Hotel Traffic Circle in Kearney Mesa in San Diego called "Crust Kitchen." Their meals are rather pricey but worth it and the coffee they serve is not the Farmers blend. It's the best damned coffee I've ever tasted in my life. I asked the owner of the establishment about it and he refuses to divulge his secret. They charge $3.85 a cup but the cups are huge. A few months ago, I decided to test out 'Summer Blend' and I'm happy I did! It brought me back to my favorite table at Crust, I'll grant you, there's a slight difference in flavor from what they serve in their kitchen. Just the same, when a person finds that perfect cup of coffee that they always want to stick to, it goes a long way that Tege Gill and the gang at WP have found a way to per-fect a particular taste that is sometimes hard to put into words. It’s funny how certain tastes bring one back to the psst. More than 50 years ago I was staying at the Hilton in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Each morning at breakfast was served the best cup of coffee I have ever tasted, only one. When asked, the waiter explained it was Blue Mountain coffee and just a very small region in the mountains produced such exceptional coffe, the first I had heard of it. I tried to purchase it several times but was very disappointed and gave up. When I tasted your Mariners Blend, the taste took me back to that time in Ocho Rios (+++++). I didn’t provide a review at that time because I wanted to try the Summer Blue Mountain Blend. It wasn’t the same, although good in its own right. I prefer a darker roast.
